All services are in German and English, and offered both nationally and internationally. Depending on your interests and needs, we will work at my office in 30175 Hannover Löwenstrasse 12, your workplace / office, in rented premises, cafe, or on a walk etc. If required, I can also offer appointments after 7 pm, as well as on weekends.

Methods applied in my work

My qualifications, attitudes, practices and methods are in line with my philosophy and world view. Methods are not ends in themselves, but a means to an end. They are applied only with your agreement and where they may be beneficial.


Client-centered interview

The most important pillars of a client-centered approach, as proposed by it’s founder Carl Rogers, are:

  • Authenticity and the authentic appearance of the coach / therapist, which includes revealing their emotions in response to the client´s situation so as to establish and maintain a genuine relationship.
  • True acceptance of the client; where the coach / therapist unconditionally accepts the client as he / she is, including his or her’s perception, and construction of reality.
  • Empathy of the coach / therapist, who respectfully empathises with the world of the client, and carefully explores it together with, and for the benefit of the client.


Hypnotherapeutic techniques

Hypnosis is a means to bypass conscious perception and readily available problem solving patterns in order to address the subconscious and thereby to foster the upbringing of surprising and new solutions. The hypnotic trance is a state of consciousness, which lies between normal waking consciousness and deep sleep, and is scientifically proven via different wavelengths of cerebral activity.

During the whole hypnotic process you - the client - are at any time self-determined and only what you want to let happen, happens. The existence of your so-called "secret observer" has also been scientifically proven in various studies. Any suggestions that you do not agree with, and which are opposed to your value system, will  wake you up. You are able to stop the process at any point.

Successful hypnosis work assumes openness on your part towards this form of work, a trustworthy relationship between us,  and your willingness to initiate real change.

As you read this section your unconscious is working on many topics and looking curiously into the future at the same time. It is worth taking time to reflect on the ways in which this method may support you.

Systemic methods

The use of systemic methods is an indispensable part of today's understanding of coaching and mediation, and is based on the simple fact that each of us is part of several systems, such as the family, workplace, circle of friends etc, and that we maintain relations not only with the system, but also with various ’elements’ within those systems.

Anytime we think about possible solutions, be it in a coaching process or during mediation, these can only be successful if the specific environment or the relevant system is included in our considerations. Of particular interest and great value for my work are the insights of constructivism, systemic communication theories, and systemic family therapy. Aiming at finding suitable and prudent solutions, I also use systemic questioning techniques, complemented with analog methods such as images and structural constellations.

Psychodrama methods

The psychotherapeutic method known as psychodrama was established in the first half of the 20th century by Jacob Moreno. The focus of psychodrama is the experience-oriented presentation of, and dealing with concerns of, the ‘protagonist’, with the help of, amongst others, role reversal and role play. In individual as well as group coaching, these techniques provide excellent opportunities to enter the world of the client(s) and to work productively within the reality of the coaching situation – as close as possible to reality.

As opposed to my earlier belief in solely cognitive - oriented approaches, I am now convinced that experience-oriented methods provide an invaluable supplement to any kind of work – provided of course that you as a client are willing and ready to engage with this.
